Richard Prince's Journal-isms quotes Howard University School of Communications Dean Jannette Dates, who had just returned from the New York Screening on the legacies of Ossie Davis and Mr. Johnson. You can read John H. Johnson's official biography here.

PROUD: Tonight at The Apollo

Hollywood in Harlem Film Festival presents PROUD tonight at the legendary Apollo Theater!

Thanks to Ebony Magazine for making this special presentation of the film possible. To have the film associated with the Apollo is not just a plus for the movie, but another validation for the Mason crew and their accomplishments.

It's Tuesday, it's a hot August day in NYC. Why not get yourself uptown tonight and see a movie?
